Cara Melabur Dalam Unit Amanah

Assalamualaikum.

Sila-silalah hubungi saya secepat mungkin, okay? And I do wish this post has benefit you in many ways.

Methods of Investing in Unit Trust

Assalamualaikum.

In this post, I am going to explain how easy it actually is for you to start investing in unit trust. Either you do it with cash or via KWSP. Like I told you, it's super easy, like deadly easy, no? :)

1) Cash
There are two ways in which you can achieve this

The first is a lumpsum method.
Second is the combination of lumpsum + regular savings.

Both of them require a teeny-tiny amount of money as an initial which is RM 500. You also have the option to go for a monthly investment of no less than RM 200 which will be automatically deducted from your account. Maybank, BSN, EON, RHB dan other banks/MEPS are included in the list of choice and obviously CIMB is preferred. No bias here. :)

In short, you will need at least RM 500 to start off your investment and you have the option to do a regular investment of RM 200 or even more. These amounts are not capped; meaning that you can put in as much money as you wish. And you are very welcomed to do so because I would advise you to do so. It is certainly a good news, innit?

2) KWSP
Investing via KWSP is a wee bit different. The investment will be taken directly from Akaun 1 however there are pre-requisites to which you qualify for before we can proceed with the investment. Insya-Allah, I will explain this further in the next post, hopefully.

Should you have any enquiries, do not hesitate to contact me. I do wish this post has benefit you in many ways.

Kenapa Anda Perlu Melabur Dalam Unit Amanah

Assalamualaikum.

Jadi, jangan tunggu lagi. Mulakan pelaburan anda sekarang! Hubungi saya untuk maklumat lanjut.

Why You Should Invest in Unit Trust

Assalamualaikum.

Probably by now you have understood, or by the least, have the slightest idea of what unit trust is all about. To those of you who have not, you can read about it here.

As per the title, why you should start investing in unit trust? Well, simply because it can yield an average return of 10 - 15%, higher than other means of investment. But, it is unequivocally not one of those get-rich-quick schemes since it is a medium to long term investment where you have got to allow the money to grow for no less than 3 years. In other words, unit trust is capable of yielding an average return of 10 - 15% given that the money is let to grow for at least 3 years. Investors risk reaping so little return or worst, having a depreciation in investment value if the investment is redeemed within a short period of time.

And so, the key to investing in unit trust is medium to long term. Emphasise on medium to long term. By then you can savour the very sweet taste of that high return. Undoubtedly, it is in our greed to get as much return or profit in the fastest time possible but go anywhere and you shall find your endeavour fruitless. Unless if you invest in any get-rich-quick schemes. There have been many cases of said schemes but the Pak Man Telo Scheme seemed to top everything. Thousands of incautious so-called investors with hundreds of millions of 'investment' and what did most of them get in return? Not a single penny. Simply put, there is no shortcut to get your hands down in piles of money; it needs a considerable amount of time, ample knowledge as well as having the correct channel and strategies.

In Malaysia, there are a bunch of companies offering you the opprtunity to invest in unit trust; exactly 37 companies as of March 2015. Amongst them are  CIMB-Principal Asset Management Bhd, Kenanga Investors Berhad, Amanah Saham Nasional Berhad and Public Mutual Berhad. Should you feel curious to know more, do check out here.

So, wait not any longer and start your investment now! Do not hesitate to contact me for more information.

Apakah Itu CWA dan Unit Amanah

Assalamualaikum.

Ramai yang bertanya. Apa tu CWA? UT?

Of CWA and Unit Trust

Assalamualaikum.

So, here’s a basic question. What is CWA? Or Unit Trust?

To those of you who are yet to know, CWA or CIMB Wealth Advisor in full, is a subsidiary of CIMB Principal Asset Management Bhd. It offers you the opportunity to create, protect and preserve your wealth/asset(s) via a range of financial products which include investment in unit trust, self-protection with insurance or takaful as well as trust nomination and estate planning.

On the other hand, unit trust is a form of collective investment where investors with similar investment objectives pool and invest their money into a diverse range of securities such as equities, bond or money market. The money invested is then managed by professional fund managers who are overseen by a third party which are the trustees.

One of the responsibilities of fund managers is to manage investors’ money in such a way that investors will gain profit from made investment. The managers will also ensure that the investments are diversified into multiple funds. This method of diversification will lessen and mitigate the risk associated with investment since it will not depend solely on the performance of a single fund.

Therefore, as an investor you need not to worry about your investment for it will be managed by those who are professional and experienced in this field. Furthermore, all transactions made by the fund managers will be overseen by the trustees who will be overseen by Securities Commission. Say for example, that you choose to invest in a syariah compliant fund, both fund managers and trustees will make certain that your money should go into one. What's most important is that everything is registered with Bank Negara Malaysia.

So dear investors, when you make your investment in unit trust, you will not have to worry and doubt a thing about your money. Everything will be taken care of very well. If you are interested to invest in unit trust or have any enquiries, you can contact me anytime. Insya-Allah, I will try my best to answer all of your questions.

CWA UTC: A Career Fated?

So I have, since the day I was back in Malaysia, spent approximately 8 months at home, jobless. Emphasise on jobless. Jobless in the context of not having a career or a profession suiting to my chosen course which I graduated with a few weeks prior to getting home: chemical engineering. Looking on the bright side, I can always find any house chores to do to get out of boredom and kill time; from helping my mom in the kitchen to sweeping the floor to doing the dishes. Ringan tangan much? Hehe.

To say that I am inefficient at finding and applying jobs is a perfectly fair statement. I think I can count the number of jobs I have applied for so far amongst which include Petronas, Dialog and ExxonMobil. Big OnG companies, are they not? However, there exist a few problems which has led to this lack of job-hunting and me not able to secure an interview. Well, the problem which I found most intimidating is me. Me doubting myself, doubting my capability of becoming a good engineer which is most likely what those companies are yearning for. Heck Even good is under the par. They are looking for excellent people with excellent mentality and what else. Even spectacular would fit.

Still, if I were to be a fairly good engineer, I don’t really have the passion to work as one. And there goes all the years of preparing for and studying the course. Please don’t misapprehend. I wanted to become an engineer. I have said this to my sister so many times and in that may times has she suggested that I have to at least try to be an engineer, know what it’s like and then only time will tell whether or not I have the passion. But naah, I don’t know. I don’t really fancy the idea of working for someone who will have a complete control over you. You do your job as per signed in the agreement and you get paid a certain amount of money which I think is inequivalent to your real self-worth. I honestly don’t fancy that.

So when these developed, I did less job-searching and hence less job applications and consequently why I have not been able to secure an interview until today. It occurred to me that I cannot not do nothing. I need to start having at least a steady amount of money flowing into my bank account that has been declining (and approaching to a number I fear most), what’s with GST and you-know-what coming very soon.

I was presented with the opportunity to know more about CIMB Wealth Advisor when my sister (yes, she’s an agency supervisor in CWA) brought me to this awesome GBOP, a short form for Grand Business Opportunity Presentation a few months back. It was in September, if I am not mistaken. But I didn’t straight away sign up to be an agent for I had thought I might be able to secure some interviews from which I will get a call saying ‘Congrats, you’re our new precious employee’. Heh, what a thought. I attended a second GBOP in December and signed up to be an agent a few weeks after. And Alhamdulillah, I am now officially a consultant in Unit Trust with CWA.

I would say that I am hyped. I am hyped with the fact that I am now a business runner. I am hyped with the fact that in CWA, you’re working for yourself, thus you are reaping every ounces of benefit you get from the work you have done. Not others. Not your supervisors or managers. Essentially, you get paid according to your effort. I am hyped that I have got the opportunity to help people grow their assets and add value into people’s lives. I am literally hyped about everything.

So, was it fated for me to become a UTC? I would say I will have to let time decide everything. As of now, I am going to put every effort into this one job and see where does it lead me to. Wish me luck.
